Imagine you are in first grade and you want so badly to do well in school. It is taking every fiber of your being just to remember all the words to that amazing sentence you are writing and, "SCREEEEECCCCHHHHHH!" Someone gets up from their desk (chair out) and pushes their chair back in. You have lost all train of thought, and frankly that was really noisy! You think, "If only my teacher could make this room more calm and not so noisy, then I would be able to be my best!" A calm room helps students learn and maximizes their ability to give their personal best. Now, I know that I could use tennis balls to quite the chairs-- and I have. They are notorious for falling off and they get really gross looking after a while. These chair covers would last a really long time (forever?), not fall off, and help provide an enhanced sense of tranquility for my little learners.
