I would like to incorporate the Scholastic Science News Magazines into my curriculum as extension and reinforcement activities. They are wonderful resources for students to be up to date on cool and current science topics. The alignment with NGSS standards are awesome. Also, it allows for my early finishers to have the opportunity to explore, in greater detail, science topics that they normally may not. Since I teach multiple academic levels, I want to create some flexible seating for the science room. Since some of my students struggle with language arts skills, the headphones and pencil grips help them to be able to better learn the materials by listening and the grips provide better stability with writing skills.
