Using Warhammer 40k models and paints, my students will be able to visualize such mathematical concepts as scale factor and scale model. They will also be able to use the models to build a battlefield and apply percent increase, percent decrease, and percent error through army / battalion reinforcements and deaths (and their pre-battle estimations). The same supplies will also allow students to express theirselves artistically by giving them the freedom to paint their models however they see fit. By combining these items with their day to day classroom experiences, my students will have a better chance to grow and learn and have a positive experience this school year.

About my class
