My classroom is flipped, meaning we do hands on activities rather than lecture in class. I believe that making history hands on helps students understand the subject rather than absorbing the information I tell them. To help with a base of knowledge every unit, I create videos that students watch out of class and we build off of these lessons the next days in class. Some of my students do not have access to reliable WiFi or can afford to purchase headphones to allow them to watch in school and so this classroom set of Kaysent headphones will be a way to help my students that are limited in technology at home to not only remain on pace with other students, but to not feel limited by socioeconomic constraints.
