This flexible seating project will help my students greatly during station time in reading and math. While I'm working with a small group at my kidney table, one group of students could be sitting on the wobble seats on the floor or in their chair reading or taking AR tests. Another group of students could be sitting in a designated area in the comfy floor seats working on an independent assignment on Chromebooks. Students will be able to be comfortable and move around without distracting others. There could be an additional area of desks that have been lowered to the floor with exercise balls for students to work on word study activities. Flexible seating provides an opportunity to have a spacious and organized classroom with student choice.
