My goal is to keep my students informed about current scientific events occurring in the world. I believe the monthly magazine SuperScience will help achieve this in an exciting way. The magazine has engaging nonfiction articles with captivating photography and online resources that enhance the concepts. I will use this magazine in a variety of ways. Early in the year we will read and discuss each article and how it pertains to them. We will look at the online resources together and discuss the content. Later, the students can collaborate by reading the articles together and then presenting their finding to the class. After we are done with the magazines the students can take home the magazines to share with their families.
