The use of new equipment for my students will benefit them on every level as an athlete. Our current equipment is over a few years old and is worn out from usage. We currently have 10 volleyballs to use between JV and Varsity levels, and that’s not enough to run the needed and proper drills to increase the student-athletes’ knowledge and skills for the sport of volleyball. We are also short bets to use during our practices for both teams to have accuracy and in proper drills to teach the skills the student athletes need. Without proper and up to date equipment, student-athletes won’t be able to advance their skills. Student-athletes learn valuable skills both on and off the court that benefits them in every aspect of being a student.
