The curriculum and resource books will serve as a blueprint for teachers to move beyond our hallway "Kindness Campaign" and delve into the art of teaching good character to our students. The activities and social stories provided in the curriculum will give teachers the confidence to tackle a variety of topics that impact our students daily. Teachers will work to build attitudes of respect and caring, reduce problem behaviors, empower students to solve problems, and educate the whole child with these flexible, user-friendly resources. The lessons provided allow teachers to "build in" rather than "add on" social-emotional learning throughout the day. In addition, teachers will be able to use these activities to start meaningful conversations between home and school.
