This year's Kindergarteners are a focused and enthusiastic group of young minds, excited for differentiated learning. Because of the wide range of skills in our classroom, station rotation supports them most powerfully, requiring technology in order to individualize the learning for each student's needs. Please help gift our classroom with iPads, headphones, and a LEGO kit. These resources support all of my students in their highly individualized needs, and of note, the LEGO kit supports the inclusion of my nonverbal students. Self-paced learning through technology allows my students to build independence and to work through skills at their own pace. iPads also offer the opportunity for students to listen to reading, an important component of a balanced literacy curriculum.
