Today’s technologies have transformed many elements of the human experience including how we connect, communicate, and how we gather information. As such, tools like the iPad are increasingly entering the classroom scene with significant implications for student learning as well as instructor engagement. Our classroom visual community could take our learning to the next level with having their hand in creating sophisticated digital artwork, graphic designs, movie-making, and animation. I’m interested in seeing my students unleach their creativity to help them communicate new ideas, become a better problem solver, and discover ways to leave their mark on the world. I am an educator and fine artist who spent a decade as a creative director of an advertising firm. I know first hand how art and technology can change students' lives and give them the tools to be engaged, inspired, and a pathway to careers in the arts. I absolutely love my iPad and have no doubt that my students will feel their creativity ignite with the lessons and engaging activites we can do on the iPad. Please help me develope creative confidence and reveal undiscovered abilites in my students!
