The materials selected will be utilized to guide students to excel and achieve in the areas of reading and writing, as they engage in hands on activities; create, research and design. These resources will be infused in the daily ELA lessons as scholars work collaboratively in groups and independently to understand and relate to skills and concepts taught, along with the development of test taking skills in preparation for the state's high stake assessment. My students tend to grasp lessons that are engaging and focused, whereby they are able to share, connect and communicate. Project-Base Learning, Journaling and Learning Stations are the order of the day!
