The materials I am requesting will play a huge role in sparking the interest of hundreds of students over the years. It is my second year in the classroom and first year in Fifth grade so my current library is pretty small and lacks variety. I have chosen to ask for Time For Kids, as well as sets of Fiction and Non-fiction Scholastic books in hopes that my students will learn to love reading as much as I do. It is my belief that reading has the power to change the world and I am hoping that my library begins this journey for my students.
