After the use of the calm down corner, our students will be able to focus and succeed in their lessons. The calm down corner will reduce the amount of time the students spend outside of the classroom. Our students will learn to manage their emotions by using these tools and curriculum. They will have a calm place to go to and process their emotion and destress. With the lessons, they will be learning to manage conflict, make friends, and have more empathy. Building on their social skills in a space that is also calming for them as they process their emotions.
