I am requesting a class set of subscriptions to TIME for Kids. This would make a difference because this would expose my students to current events and news that is happening around the world. The magazine, TIME for Kids gives current events information in a kid friendly language. It also comes with engaging activities for students to complete. These materials will also increase a love for reading. Students would look forward to learning about what is happening in the world and at the same time read engaging material. We would also use this for current event activities for class and at home. I would also incorporate vocabulary that is used in the articles in my classroom.
