The materials for building, creating, and manipulating will be used in Hands-On, Minds-On Morning Tubs. These Morning Tubs benefit students is a variety of ways. They promote socialization, give students choice, and help create a positive classroom environment. They also help students to think outside-the-box and learn collaboratively. Socialization and academics will be bridged through this project. The first 10 to 20 minutes of the day will be utilized for this very purpose. Morning Tubs allow students to socialize while working individually or collaboratively. Clear routines and procedures will be established to ensure that this time is used efficiently. Your donation to this project will not only touch the students of this academic year but will reach numerous students throughout the upcoming years! I believe this project is powerful because it ignites engagement, participation and motivation though choice. It also helps to create an environment that students want to be a part of. I want my students to be excited to enter our classroom, and Morning Tubs contribute wonderfully to a positive energy filled classroom.
