Audio books are a great way to give students access to high level, complex texts. Students LOVE to read! As my class will be staying together from 4th to 5th grade, our library is essential to keeping students engaged. Having audio books to promote a love of literacy is a great way to keep students reading with book clubs, and reading complex texts regardless of reading level. Students can keep reading over and over again, and suggest great books to others. It is so powerful to hear from each other on what books they love to read, and starting from the beginning of the year, we want to launch the year off strong!
