The materials will be used: the tab dividers will be used to help students label in their notebooks the topic they are working on, Sharpies to write and label things in the classroom (especially the tabs), wet-erase markers will be for math centers (two per pair of students so they can write on the center, check their work, then erase), and envelopes will be used to keep their unattached math notes and/or manipulatives in so that they doesn't get lost (or even for those tactile students who don't like to glue anything). All this in hopes of organizing students to help them be more successful throughout their year with us in fourth grade and in life.
