Education is ever-changing, but one idea that remains solid is the idea of collaboration. Collaboration is key in developing 21st-century learners. My students love working in collaborative groups to problem solve and create. Currently, we use the individual desks and put them together in groups, but tables would be more conducive for learning and take up less space in the classroom. I would love for my kids to have round tables to be able to learn together and be able to communicate easier with each other. Your donation will go to provide my 6th graders with round tables that will allow 5-6 students to engage in collaborative, independent, and partner studying. It will allow my students to engage in a high-level task, discussion, debate, shared decision-making, or demonstrating their learning through a collaborative project.
