Items in this project were chosen to aid in enhancing developmental skills in kindergarten students. Learning should be fun and involve sensory exploration through tactile, and kinesthetic movements. Students that are not quite developmentally able to use regular scissors, can use the loop scissors, and actively engage in the cutting activity. While learning, the chairs and the cushion requested will provide greater stability, and assist students to maintain a better sitting posture in order to increase student's overall ability to focus on learning and write with greater stability. The goal of these items is to assist the students to receive appropriate sensory feedback . No matter their learning style, all students should be involved in active learning. From sitting, to cutting, to experiencing tactile input through the use of the tactile alphabets, dynamic learning should be a part of every classroom.
