This is my first year teaching middle school and I want to make it great. Our school is in South Central Los Angeles and there isn't much funding for extra things in the classroom. Most of the things that I'm asking for are to organize the classroom so that it runs smoothly and the students' learning time is optimized. The rest of the items that are being asked for are to ensure that students individual needs are met through flexible seating. With students' sensory needs being met they should be able to make a smoother transition to middle school and beyond.
