The color printer and iPads I have requested will greatly enhance the learning environment of the students I work with each day. Access to the assistive technology provided by iPads will greatly enhance the day-to-day lives of our students. They will be able to engage in conversation with peers and adults in the classroom. which is essential to socialization. iPad technology will also offer my students greater access to more engaging literacy activities. Regular use of iPad technology in the classroom will create, in them, confidence to use such technology beyond the classroom. Some of our students are not able to access assistive technology provided through an IPad, but we work hard to assist them in increasing their communication skill through other means. This is where quality visual tools are essential. Teacher access to a quality color printer is imperative for them to provide engaging visuals to utilize with our students every day.
