According to research, the average attention span for a kindergarten student is between ten and fifteen minutes. By incorporating the Dash Robot and iPad, I can enhance classroom engagement and learning experiences. My inner city students will explore robotics, coding and hands-on learning. By integrating robotics and coding, students can learn coding and engineering by using developmentally appropriate resources. By implementing robotics, coding and hands-on learning such as exploring with the Dash Robot and iPad. My students can practice algorithms for the Dash Robot to perform such as tracing letters, shapes and numbers. The students will also enhance their digital literacy.
