The use of art supplies is a definite in my classroom. Students will be able to use new supplies for this upcoming school year that they would not have had the pleasure of using if it hadn't been for your generosity. The students will benefit by being able to use all kinds of new mediums to help me help them create and use their imaginations to broaden their creative spectrum. With your help, I won't have to limit myself or my students because of a lack of supplies. Art is a very important part of developmental growth, art is teaching color, shape and texture. Art isn't just about a splash of paint on a piece of paper. It is a way for them to express how they are feeling in the moment. Art is not about the product, it is about the process. My students are learning when they are creating little masterpieces. They are not yet self conscious about what they are creating, they are just enjoying what they are doing at that moment. I want them to be creative, confidant and excited about what they are making. Because many of my students come from low in come families, they may not have the supplies at home to create but in my classroom they will. With your generous donation we can make this happen for all of my little artists.
