Currently, our classroom is furnished with many heavy bulky chairs and tables. Research shows that incorporating flexible seating enhance students focus and learning process. My 3rd graders enjoy the freedom to move around and work where they are most comfortable and at ease. They like to work on our classroom library rugs with clipboards, at the round kidney table, or the picnic area outside; certainly not behind the chairs and tables that the school provides. Because of this, I know that flexible seating will help my students choose a seat that helps them perform their BEST at all time! Thus, it will create a healthy and fun learning environment for all types of learners.

About my class
