The M-Bot Robots will give the students a great hands-on learning opportunity. Students will be able to build the robot themselves and also learn how to code so that the robot can perform certain functions. In addition, students will be working in teams to build the robot, learn how to code, and then program the robot. This will provide them with the chance to not only learn some important skills involving technology, but also to learn how to work in teams to solve problems. The final activity in the unit will be to have students participate in a problem solving challenge and competition where they will write code to get the robot to perform a set of tasks.
