My project is to provide the sixth grade science room with items that can be used and reused as part of science stations. Resources such as specimen and actual lab equipment gives scholars a sense of academic weight even while they are investigating and exploring. To many students seeing is understanding. Many of my students have not spent time in nature or studied elements of science in real world settings. I want to open up the "real world" to them so they can, by extension, carry forward the life skill of inquiry that will serve them in all academic endeavors.
