I have moved and accepted the position of Librarian/Media Specialist at an amazing school. This space has TONS of potential but really needs a gut job and someone from HGTV to come in and do their magic. I am not scared of the challenge, but need your help in a HUGE way! The district says they are going to paint the walls and pull the carpet to replace with tile. AWESOME! I want to make this the most favorite room on campus to encourage students to come in, sit and stay awhile. We need new furniture, artwork, visuals and more books for this to become a reality! We also want to create a special area for Makerspace activities. Makerspaces provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they deeply engage in science, engineering and tinkering.
