By introducing an iPad station in my PreK classroom it will expose my students to content they would otherwise not have access to! In this "digital age" it's imperative that our children are familiar with such an important tool in our world today. I plan on using our iPads for a variety of reasons: Listening Center - students will be able to "flip" the pages of a book with the help of audiobooks app through iTunes, Facilitate Conversation- we will use the iPads to take random pictures throughout the school day and during free time centers use those pictures for talking pieces, Science Center - set up my science center with photos that support our current topic, e.g. leaves for Fall or seashells and marine animal images for a study of the ocean.
