The supplies I am requesting will help me give students an opportunity to work collaboratively each day. Working in small groups and using supplies like Lego's, Squigz and Brainflakes, gives the students a chance to interact with each other in a positive and cooperative way. The students will get to use critical thinking skills as they design and build with these materials in a hands-on way. We will also get to incorporate social-emotional learning by doing a mindfulness lesson using the pony beads and pipe cleaners. The materials in this project will be engaging, exciting and motivating for my students to use. With your help, I can't wait to see what my students can build together!
