I am transitioning from elementary to junior high and I want to create a warm and relaxing environment. The school has a high poverty rate and even higher at risk rate. I want them to feel safe and secure when they enter my classroom. I can’t control their home life but I can make their time with me as inviting as possible. Since not all kids learn the same, why should students sit the same. Flexible seating will allow them to choose a seating that fits their mood for that day. They can sit on a stool, on a pillow, stand at a standing desk, etc... Hopefully, it will ease their worries and concerns for a brief period of time. Any donation helps!
