Flexible seating will allow my students to make the best choice for their learning. I believe that their behaviors will also improve due to the opportunities given to them to make choices in their classroom environment. Currently my students have the opportunity to sit in various places in my classroom. They have different tables with different heights and a couple of different options for seating. I am asking for a few more seating options so that my students have more choices. The wobble chairs will be ideal for those students that require a little more movement during class instruction. The stadium seats will be used with my low table. These stadium seats will also be able to be moved to different areas of the classroom. I am also asking for book bins so my students can store classroom materials in them since they no longer have desks. I have implemented flexible seating during summer school with much success. I believe with more seating options, it will only make learning more successful!
