This table will really ensure that I am sitting in close proximity as my students read during guided reading. Therefore, I would be able to promote skills that will correct reading errors because I can better hear them. During guided reading, I like to let the students discuss as a group their thoughts on the book. The students then write about the text that they have read. Sitting in the “horseshoe” setting really caters to this form of assessment. This table would also serve as an intervention table to meet my struggling learners. Kidney tables are also super fun for any kind of big protects! 😍
