The tables are not only beautifully designed, they also allow for students to work independently or be engaged in stations/centers with their peers. It allows room for students to be engaged in hands-on activities~ ANYWHERE in the classroom! The tables are on wheels and will allow mobility. Students will have their 'own' space, like desks used to allow, but they are also connected to their friends in their learning environment. The ultimate goal is for each child to be successful mastering their math standards~ these tables will allow easy access all around the room, where math manipulatives will be set up. Students aren't going to be in just one area every day. I plan to name each table, when I assign meaningful, engaging math stations, students will very easily know where to go and what to do. No time will be wasted. I plan for the classroom to be very organized, yet fulfilling for every child. This will be my 25th year teaching, I have spent thousands of dollars on materials, seating, colorful accessories. Now I would like to have easy access to tables (instead of desks) for students to interact easily in the classroom. I love the way these tables are shaped for my small third graders, yet connected to their peers! Please help me provide this to our classroom. Thank You!
