This project is designed to offer my students a variety of ways by which to achieve success. My students are in my class for approximately 3 hours at a time. Even though we try to implement brain breaks and time to move around, often times the students become restless in their seats; therefore, making it harder for them to focus and stay motivated. This project will allow the flexibility to become more comfortable, to be more focused, and thereby keeping students motivated and engaged. With your donation to our project, you will be helping the students to become more engaged, to be more excited about learning, and therefore impact their future . I have always loved school and learning, and my excitement with this project is that it will help my students, my "kids", to love school and learning even more! "One of the benefits of flexible seating is helping our students become meta-cognitive of their learning process and what works best for them. Occasionally ask them why they chose a certain spot to help get them thinking about how they learn. This will be an important life skill that they will use for years to come." - Cassie Tabrizi
