My hope is to be able to have all students clearly understand me and each other through the use of the Redcat Access Amplifiication system. With the new teaching guidelines requiring masks and social distancing, teaching my 6th graders about science will have new challenges - the most important being students understanding and hearing their instruction. This amplification system will allow all students to hear me clearly from a distance and will help their level of understanding as well. The great part about this system is that it can be shared with other teachers and can be moved to different rooms which may be the case for our upcoming year. Studies show that these types of systems help ALL students learn - especially ELL, students with attention issues and those with learning disabilities.
