Kids are kinetic learners. A space that allows them to move around among each other and to different areas of the room will allow more physical freedom to support learning. The flexibility of these tables help me address all the different types of learners in my classroom. The required Next Generation Science Standards call for different kinds of collaborative work, from individual study to discussion in pairs and to lab groups of four or more. These "2-top" lab tables will allow for lots of flexible seating for small group work and direct instruction. They will also let me set different areas of the classroom for labs or large group discussion. I’m excited to have a space that will allow me to engage students in their curiosity about science in many ways. *I need 16 of these tables to fully support my classroom, so look for follow up campaigns when I reach my first goal!
