I have been working on "Gamifing" our classroom. I have Google Sheets set up to record student achievements such as assignment completion, 100% on work, mastering math facts, kind acts, and learning new concepts. When I am walking around the room checking work, I need to go back to my computer to enter grades and that takes me away from my students! This may seem like a short period of time, but it could be useful interaction time. With an iPad my students will get instant feedback on their work and I will be able to serve more students in less time. P.S. My room is 1:1 or I would be working on getting devices in their hands before mine.
