These student-led and hands-on learning experiences reshape how students think about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. When students build their own vehicles, design a marble run, or engineer a structure, they learn cause-effect, engineering design process, trial and error, and practice Social Emotional skills like delaying gratification and growth mindset. With these stations, students become problem-solvers, project developers, critical thinkers, engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and artists! These STEAM stations will give students practice in designing, building, testing, and revising that a worksheet could never deliver for them. These materials guide scholars through individualized learning experiences and allow them the creative flexibility to meet their own learning goals.
