The excitement of getting into a new book is something that hasn't left me as an adult. I love showing my students new worlds and helping them to think creatively. These books will help inspire lessons throughout the year as well as encourage independent reading in the classroom. I chose these specific books because my students are always asking me if I have any of them on my shelves. I hope in developing my library it will increase the love and excitement for books in the classroom. An early love of reading can build a foundation for the rest of their lives.
