I can’t wait to help my students cultivate a love for reading and current events! I have used Storyworks and Scholastic News with past students. I have never had more than 5-10 copies for my classroom to use. I found that these materials were amazing tools for ELAR learning, discovery, and practice. With that experience, I can see the benefit of this resource. We will use these materials in whole groups and small groups to strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The articles are intriguing for young readers, and they challenge them to stretch their thinking. These donations will bring my students an exciting learning experience that they will love!
