My students need a rug in the classroom so we can develop good collaborative discussions and to promote a classroom community climate. I want to use this rug to have a space for my students to gather when we are reading our texts in class. Having a place to gather will give my students a place to hold student-led discussions, leading to better reading comprehension for my class. My students need a place to be able to explore learning and work during the school day. Having this rug will allow my students to hold peer tutoring sessions in a flexible seating space. This will also help promote socialization among my students and allow them to build good relationships with each other and myself in our new community collaboration space.
