My students are wonderful! They are in fourth grade and come to me with a variety of special needs (LD, BD, OHI, MR). My students attend their local public school and are integrated into the general education classroom for everything other than Reading, Writing and Math. Because of their special needs, my students must see, hear, and experience their lessons in order to learn them. These kids are energetic, optimistic, hard working and eager to learn. They strive to do their best even when the task ahead seems daunting. Each and every one of my students must work twice as hard as the typical student to meet their goals and to progress in the general curriculum.
