These materials will assist with teaching the dancers about the muscles in their bodies. These materials will also help develop the muscles they will be studying. In the 7th grade the students learn about body conditioning and kinesology, having the visuals posted in the room will assist the visual learners. Every dancer knows that a true turn comes from your core. Having the balancing disc will strengthen and develop the abdominal muscles, which will result in better and more controlled turns. The exercise cube allows students to get physically fit in a fun way, which will work well when we have Love Your Body Week.
