Traditional DNA research has taken hours to complete and has limited our ability to do investigations down to seeing how basic DNA equipment works with dyes and food coloring. This MiniPCR system will allow my students to actually do DNA research (on GMOs, their own sleep cycles, their own tasting ability, and more!) in two class periods. This is SUCH an exciting opportunity to allow students into the future where they can be the next generation of researchers finding the answers to human inheritance and personal disease treatment. I need five sets of them, but two will get us started!
