My students are 6th graders. Most are entering adolescence, so being social is extremely important to them. They learn best with a partner or in a group. They love choice in assignments and projects. My students work together to solve problems. They love to share knowledge and skills. They love music and we try to incorporate it into as many activities as possible. Our school is literally a neighborhood school and is nestled right I the middle of a subdivision. Many of our students ride bikes or walk home. We have great parent participation and have many volunteers.
