Next school year, I will be starting on a new adventure working at an elementary school with students with emotional and behavior disorders. I want to provide these students with a space where they feel safe to explore their emotions and learn coping strategies. Trying to set-up a new classroom that provides a warm, safe, and inviting space for students can be challenging and expensive. The pillows and flexible seating chairs will help me create an atmosphere where students can be comfortable and engage in their learning. Some of th other items are fun and engaging learning activities that will help my students reach their specific learning goals. My first 7 years of teaching have been spent sharing classrooms with other teachers. I do not currently have many resources to put together a classroom from the ground up. I would greatly appreciate help in creating this space for my students. Thank you so much!
