My students love playing instruments in the music classroom. I try to incorporate them in any lesson I can, to teach music elements and concepts. My students could really benefit from playing ukuleles. Ukuleles are not only fun, but they help teach so many things about music (harmony, pitch, rhythms, tempo, etc.) My head is spinning with all the ways I could use them! I teach kindergarten through sixth grade and I can envision using ukuleles with all my students during the school year. They would also be used in concerts for the community. Please consider helping our music program.
