I want to share my love of reading to my students. Being at a Title I school, my students usually do not grow up having the love of reading like I do because they did not have the opportunity or means to go to the library or even have books in their household. I believe it is incredibly important for students to realize how great reading is and that it is a way to transform history and think about it in a new way. This project would help my students understand the Atlantic Slave Trade and the impact it had.

About my class
