The 2019-2020 school year will be the first year we are offering a Heritage Spanish Speakers class for our students! The novels on this list will be added to our library for students to select from during literature circles where they read and work in small groups. They will be presented with 5/6 novels and they will pick the novel that they are most interested in. It helps to have multiple copies of different novels to diversify which books we can offer in literature circles. The goal for this course is to show the critical role that reading plays in language development but more importantly we want them to enjoy reading!

About my class
