Through conversations with my students, youtube is of high interest and its a tool they use every day after school. I want to meet my students where they are and bring the classroom to them through youtube. I would like to create a YouTube channel, catered to my students and parents as a homework and study tool by creating a video for each common core state standard for students to watch at home to practice math skills. I would need a camera with accessories in order to make this happen. I plan on creating tutorial videos for my students in hopes of increasing engagement in math, increase the number of students to turn in homework, and increase test scores to proficiency. I am so excited about this project, I know my students and parents will connect well to the YouTube channel with your help!
